K M Sales

You can find K M Sales right in the middle of Budhwar Peth at shop number 20, 504. If you know this area, you know how crowded and busy it gets every single day. The lanes are narrow and there are people everywhere, so getting things in and out can be a real struggle sometimes. We have been in this shop for quite a while now. It is a tall building and we occupy a small slice of it. Most of our time is spent talking to people who come in looking for specific parts or items we sell. We have shelves that go all the way up and we use a rickety old ladder to reach the top ones. It is dusty work and the fans never seem to move enough air to keep it cool in the summer. We drink a lot of water and tea to keep going. The street noise is constant, with horns honking and vendors shouting right outside the door. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. It is just us handling the sales and making sure the customers get what they need. Sometimes the stock takes longer to arrive because the delivery trucks can't get through the traffic. We just take it as it comes. It is a very traditional way of doing business where you know your neighbors and the other shopkeepers around you.
