K G N Mobile Communication is located right in the heart of Pimpri. It’s a small place, but we manage to fit a lot of things inside. Most days start with opening up the shutters and dusting off the display cases. Pimpri is always moving, so there’s always someone walking past the door. We handle a lot of different mobile phones, mostly fixing screens or helping people understand their new devices. It’s not a complicated business, just a lot of small parts and tiny screws. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when three or four people come in at once. We don't have any fancy chairs or air conditioning that works all the time, but we have a stool for anyone who needs to wait. I’ve lived around here my whole life, so I know most of the faces that come by. If a phone isn't charging or the battery is acting up, we take a look at it. There are many shops like ours on this street, but we’ve been at this spot for a while. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth is usually how people find us. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone is coming from work to pick up their repaired phone. It’s a steady job and it keeps the lights on. We just focus on getting the work done one phone at a time and making sure things are correct.
