Jyotishi Kedar Joshi

Down here in Borivali West, specifically over in Sai Baba Nagar, you’ll find me, Kedar Joshi. I’ve been doing this work in Pune and here for a good long while now. My office isn't anything like those big corporate places you see in the city center. It’s just a regular spot where I do my astrology work. Most days I’m just sitting here with my charts and a cup of tea. People wander in from the street or call ahead if they’re coming from across town. Sai Baba Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside my door. Inside, I try to keep it calm. I’ve got shelves full of old notes and books that have seen better days. The spine on my favorite almanac is held together with tape now. I don't really mind the clutter, it makes the place feel lived in. I don’t have a website or anything like that. I mostly just rely on people talking to each other. Someone comes in, they like what I tell them, and then they tell their cousin. That's how it's always worked for me. I spend my mornings preparing for the day's visits. It’s not a fancy life, but I enjoy the conversations I get to have with the people who walk through that door. Sometimes we talk about the stars, sometimes we just talk about life. It keeps the days interesting and keeps me on my toes. It's just a simple life here.
