Jupiter Flux

Our workplace is in Village Islampur, which is part of Tehsil Kondhwa. We are situated very close to the local post office, which makes it easy to find us. We work with flux here, which is a bit of a gritty job. The building is basically a large shed with plenty of ventilation because it can get quite warm when we are busy. There is always a faint smell of chemicals and metal in the air. We don't have a lot of furniture; just some heavy-duty workbenches and a few chairs that have seen better days. Every morning, we start by checking our supplies and seeing what needs to be moved. We use a lot of manual labor to shift the containers and bags around the floor. It’s not the kind of place where you would wear nice clothes. We usually have dust on our boots by the end of the shift. The village itself is fairly calm, and we know most of the people who live nearby. Sometimes they stop by for a quick word or to ask for help with something. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do our work and wait for the orders to come in. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We keep our records in a thick binder that sits on a shelf in the corner. It's a humble operation, but it keeps us going throughout the year.
