If you know Deccan Gymkhana, you know how crowded it gets around here during the weekends. Joy Web Services Pvt Ltd is tucked away in this area, which makes for a pretty lively place to work. We spend most of our hours looking at screens and trying to make websites behave the way they are supposed to. It is not always easy. Some days we have code that just won't work no matter how much coffee we drink. The team is just a handful of folks who happen to be good at this kind of thing. We aren't a massive company with a shiny lobby or anything like that. Our space is mostly just desks, a lot of tangled cables, and some old chairs that probably need replacing soon. Lunch is usually a quick affair because there are so many good food stalls nearby. We just walk out and grab whatever smells good that day. It's a nice routine. We deal with all sorts of web stuff, some of it interesting and some of it quite boring, but it's work and we do it. People sometimes call us asking for things we don't even do, but we try to point them in the right direction if we can. It’s just how things are run here. Nothing fancy, just plain work. We have been in this spot for a bit and the regulars around the area know our faces by now. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. We are just people working.
