Joshi Hospital

You can find us right on Bhandarkar Road, tucked into the lane where Bapat Clinic is. We’re right across from Kamala Nehru Park, which is a nice landmark if you’re trying to find the place for the first time. The hospital has been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time. It’s a bit of a tight spot with the parking on this street, as anyone who knows this part of Pune will tell you. We mostly deal with the locals who live around here and need a doctor quickly. It isn't one of those massive corporate glass buildings; it feels more like an old house that was turned into a workspace. We have a few different floors and the stairs are a bit narrow. The nurses and the front desk folks have been here for years, so they know most of the regular patients by their first names. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but inside we try to keep things orderly. People come here for all sorts of things, maybe a surgery or just a consultation. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations. It's more about getting the job done and making sure people get home safely. If the lane is full, usually there's a spot further down near the park. We keep the lights on and help whoever walks through the door.
