Jog Maya Super Market

We are located at 658/9 on Upper Kondwa Road in Bibvewadi. Being so close to the bus depot means there is always someone walking past the shop. It stays pretty busy with commuters popping in to grab something quickly before their bus leaves. Pune weather is usually okay but the dust from the depot area is constant. I spend a lot of time with a duster in my hand trying to keep the packets clean. We carry the usual household items like pulses, rice, and cleaning supplies. It’s called a super market but it’s really just a larger shop where people can walk through the aisles. The lights are a bit bright and the floor is concrete, nothing fancy at all. Sometimes the stock comes in late and we have crates sitting in the middle of the floor for hours. It’s just me and a couple of guys working here. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. We just try to keep enough stock so people don't leave empty-handed. In the afternoons when it’s quiet, we sit on the stools and wait for the evening rush to start. It’s a lot of standing around and moving boxes. Life in Bibvewadi is fast but we just keep doing what we do every day. We close the shop around nine every night and then we have to walk home. It is a long day for us and we just repeat it tomorrow.
