Jitu Bhai Caterers

Our base is in Bhawani Peth, over in the Shivaji Nagar area near Bhimpura Camp. We’ve been doing catering from this spot at house number 1600 for quite a while now. It’s not a fancy office or a showroom. Most of the space is taken up by huge cooking pots, gas cylinders, and crates of plates. When we have a big event coming up, the place is absolute chaos. People are chopping vegetables, stirring massive vats of gravy, and loading everything into the small vans. It’s a lot of physical labor, and things often go wrong—a burner might stop working or a delivery driver gets stuck in the heavy Camp traffic. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us by word of mouth or seeing us at a local wedding. Jitu Bhai is usually the one shouting orders to make sure the food goes out on time. We do all sorts of functions, from small house parties to larger gatherings in the neighborhood. The kitchen stays hot and greasy, and we spend hours cleaning up after the cooking is done. It’s a tough way to make a living, but we’ve been at it so long we don’t really know anything else. We just focus on getting the food to the venue and making sure there’s enough for everyone who shows up. It’s just us, working hard in the Peth.
