Our main office is located at 312, City Point, on Dhole Patil Road. It is a bit of a different setting than a noisy factory floor, being inside a professional commercial building, but we are still very much involved in the heavy industry world. Jiangyin Xing Cheng Special Steel Works Co. Ltd. is entirely focused on the steel trade, specifically dealing with specialized grades that are hard to find. Even though we work in an office, most of our daily conversations are about tonnages, specific metal grades, and shipping schedules. The office is filled with several desks, computers, and stacks of technical manuals that explain the different properties of the steel we handle. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to the plants and coordinating with the companies that need this steel for their big projects. Dhole Patil Road is always a busy area, so there is usually a lot of traffic noise coming in through the windows during the day. We are not a corporate team that wears suits every day; we are just regular people who happen to have a deep knowledge of the steel business. Sometimes the amount of paperwork we have to deal with feels a bit overwhelming, and our desks get buried under piles of documents, but we always find a way to stay on top of it all. We just focus on moving the steel correctly to where it needs to go. It is a lot of logistical work every day.
