This is the main location for Jehangir Hospital, situated at 32 Sasoon Road. Being the head office and the main hospital site, there is a lot going on here at all times. It is a big place with multiple floors and a lot of different wings. We handle everything from the administrative side of things to the actual medical care of patients in the wards. It can get pretty hectic in the lobby during the day with people checking in and families arriving to see their loved ones. We’ve been at this spot on Sasoon Road for many years, so the building is very familiar to everyone in the neighborhood. The staff here ranges from young students learning the ropes to senior doctors who have seen it all. We don’t have a lot of time for formalities; we just get to work and try to stay on top of the schedule. The building has some character to it, with its old staircases and busy corridors. We have all the standard equipment you’d expect, and we keep it as tidy as we can given how many people walk through here every day. It’s not a shiny, new medical park, but it is a reliable place that has served Pune for a long time. We just focus on the day-to-day operations and making sure the patients are taken care of without any unnecessary fluff or fancy language.
