Jaynnath Shoppe

If you are walking down Vadgoensheri Main Road you will find us at number 3. Jaynnath Shoppe is a small place but we manage to fit a lot of things inside the four walls we have. I usually start the day by sweeping the front step because the dust from the main road settles on everything overnight. It is a steady flow of people passing by and some of them have been coming here for years just to see what is new. We don't have any big advertisements or anything like that because the shop has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. Inside it is mostly just shelves and a counter where we stand and talk to anyone who stops in. The lighting isn't the best in the back corner but we mostly work near the front where the sun comes through the door. It is just a basic shop and we don't try to pretend it is something fancy. We handle the daily sales and keep the stock topped up when we can. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we just have to wait around and drink some water until they show up. It is a plain way to earn a living but it works for us and we like being right here on the main road where everything is happening.
