Jayant Kolhatkar & Assoc

Our office for Jayant Kolhatkar & Assoc is in a very busy part of Pune, specifically in Shivaji Nagar. We are in the Pragati Bhavan building, which is number 69/2/4. It is quite easy to find us because we are right above the Natural Ice-Cream shop. Honestly, it is hard not to go down there and get a scoop every afternoon when it gets hot. We are also directly opposite the Balgandharva auditorium. There is always something happening across the street, which makes for some interesting people-watching from our windows when we take a break. The building itself is an older one, so it has that classic Pune feel to it. Inside, it’s mostly just desks covered in papers, blueprints, and files. We deal with a lot of paperwork and technical stuff every day. It’s not the quietest office because of the traffic on the main road, but you get used to the sound of the horns after a while. Most of our day is spent at the drafting tables or meeting with people who come in to discuss their projects. We’ve been here for quite some time now, so the other shopkeepers around us know who we are. It’s a good spot to be in, right in the heart of the city, even if the parking is a total nightmare most days. We usually just take the bus or walk if we can. Anyway, that’s our daily life.
