Jay Laxmi Super Market

Jay Laxmi Super Market has been in Dhanori for some time now. It’s a decent sized place with aisles that are maybe a little narrow when two people have baskets. We stock most of the brands you see on TV and some local ones too. Usually, the mornings are quiet until the school run starts. Then it's a lot of people asking for snacks or stationery items for their kids. I usually sit near the front to keep an eye on the door. The shelving is basic metal stuff we got years ago, but it holds everything fine. Sometimes we run out of specific biscuits because the supplier is late, which is annoying for everyone. I try to write down what people ask for so I can order it next time. It’s mostly just me and a couple of boys working here. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars on the counter because of the fingerprints. Dhanori is growing fast, so there are always new people moving in and asking where the rice section is. We don't have a fancy computer system, just a notepad and a calculator that's missing the rubber feet. It gets the job done. If the fan is making that clicking noise again, I usually have to hit it with a broom handle to make it stop. That's just how it goes here. We're open pretty much every day unless there's a big wedding in the family to attend.
