Jai Mahalaxmi Super Market

We are located over in Tukaram Nagar, which is quite close to the main Kharadi market area. Even though we have super market in the name, it is really just a decent-sized local shop where you can find most of your household stuff. We keep everything from snacks and biscuits to cleaning supplies and big bags of flour. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit as much as possible on the shelves for the people living nearby. It is a convenient spot for the families in Kharadi who do not want to go all the way into the crowded center of the main market. We see the same faces every week, mostly mothers picking up groceries or kids coming in for some sweets after school. The lighting isn't the brightest, and the organization might seem a bit random to a stranger, but we know exactly where every jar and packet is kept. If you can't find the tea leaves, just ask one of us. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the delivery guys who bring the crates in. It is a busy life running a store like this. There is always something to sweep or a shelf that needs filling up. We don't have any fancy checkout systems, just a simple counter where we tally things up. It is a practical place for practical people. We stay open late enough so people can stop by after work.
