I’m located at A-4 in Kalewadi, over in the Bapu Nagar area. It’s right opposite Kinara Colony. If you’re driving through Kalewadi, it’s a pretty easy spot to pick out. I started this insurance thing a while back because people in the neighborhood were always asking for help with their papers. Now, I spend my days here at the desk. It’s not a big corporate office with a lobby. It’s just a room where we can sit down and talk about what’s needed. I keep a stack of forms and a laptop ready. People walk in from the colony across the street or from the main road. Sometimes it’s quiet and I can get through my filing, other times three people show up at once. That's just how it goes. The shop next door sells snacks, so there’s always someone hanging around outside. I don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing team. I just put the sign out and waited for people to notice. Most of my work comes from people telling their cousins or friends to come see me. It’s a small operation, honestly. I just try to stay on top of the renewals and the new claims that come in. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy from morning till night. Most days I don't leave until the sun is long gone.
