Jagdamba Super Shop

You can find us over in Bhosarigoan at the Chacha Commercial Complex. It is a big building with many other offices and shops, so it gets pretty loud during the day. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where you can get your daily necessities. We keep the shelves filled with all the stuff people use every day, like soaps, biscuits, and packets of spices. I spend a lot of time just moving things around to make sure the fresh stock is at the front. The counter is made of old wood and has some scratches on it from years of use. Usually, the fan is running at full speed but it still gets warm in the afternoons. Most of our regulars are people who live right here in the area or work in the complex. They come in for a quick packet of cigarettes or some matches on their way home. Sometimes the delivery guys take a while to find a spot to park their vans because the commercial complex is always full of vehicles. I like the busy atmosphere though. It feels good to be in the middle of all that activity. We keep the shop open until late because that is when the workers are heading back and need to pick up a few things for dinner. It’s a simple way to earn a living and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. We just stay here and run the shop as usual.
