J M Mobile Shop

J.M. Road is probably one of the busiest streets you can find around here. My shop, J M Mobile Shop, is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. I’ve spent countless hours behind this counter watching the world go by through the front window. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with phone cases of every color and rows of new and used handsets. Most of my day is spent repairing screens. It’s delicate work, and my eyes get tired by the evening. People come in in a hurry, usually because their phone is their whole life and it just stopped working. I try to get things done as fast as I can, but some jobs just take time. I’ve got a small stool in the back where I sit and work on the circuit boards. It’s quiet back there compared to the street. I started this shop because I’ve always been good with my hands and electronics. I don't have a big staff, just me and a cousin who comes in part-time. We keep it simple. There’s no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums a bit too loud. But it’s a good location and we see all kinds of people. From students looking for a cheap second-hand phone to businessmen who need a quick fix. It keeps me busy from morning till night.
