J M Communications

J M Communications is a small operation in the Shivaji Nagar area. We mostly handle things like SIM cards, recharges, and some basic phone repairs. It’s a very busy neighborhood, so there is never a quiet moment. People are always rushing past the door on their way to the station or the bus stop. Our shop is just a simple counter with some stools for customers to sit on while they wait for their paperwork to go through. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and scanning ID cards, which can be a bit boring, but it has to be done. The fans on the ceiling hum all day long and they don't really do much to cool the place down, but we don't mind it. We’ve seen the technology change from those old brick phones to the smartphones everyone carries now. It’s a lot to keep up with, but we try our best to learn the new systems. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing slogans written on the walls. We just have our name on the board outside and our address here in Shivaji Nagar. Most of our customers are regulars who live or work nearby. We value that more than anything else. It’s just a regular local business trying to do honest work and stay busy throughout the week. We keep the lights on until the last bus passes by.
