We run J B Mini Market at Vadgoensheri 2nd Cross, number 46/9. It is a small convenience store where we try to keep a bit of everything. You’ll find things like snacks, cold drinks, some basic medicines, and household items. The shop is quite packed because we want to make sure we have whatever someone might need at the last minute. We have some shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, so sometimes we have to use a small ladder to reach the top items. The neighborhood around 2nd Cross is pretty quiet during the day, but it picks up in the evening when everyone comes home from work. We spend a lot of time organizing the small packets of biscuits and candies near the counter. It isn't a supermarket, just a mini market for the local folks. We know most of our customers by name, and we often chat for a few minutes while they pay. The shop is a bit dim inside, but we know where every single item is kept. If someone asks for a specific soap or a type of battery, we can find it in seconds. We don't have any big plans to expand or anything. We are just happy being the local store on the corner where people can grab a loaf of bread or a bottle of water. We have a small radio that plays in the background, mostly just for news or some music while we restock. Vadgoensheri is a nice place to have a shop like this. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to walk in.
