Ispat Industries Ltd

Our spot here in New Panvel is inside Ashoka Apartments, which is more of a residential area compared to the big industrial zones. It’s located in Sector 15. The address has Jyoti Prakash Mishra’s name on it because that’s how people find this specific part of the building. Being in an apartment complex makes it feel a bit different than a standard glass office. We are on one of the floors there, dealing with the daily tasks for Ispat Industries Ltd. The walk from the station is a bit long if you aren't used to it, so many of us take an auto-rickshaw to get in. It’s usually quieter here than in the middle of Mumbai. We have our desks set up near the windows where there is some natural light. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep things fairly quiet. We spend our hours tracking orders and checking on shipments. Sometimes the rain in Panvel gets really heavy and we have to make sure the files stay dry. There isn't a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us doing what needs to be done. We’ve been in this part of Navi Mumbai for a good bit of time. People around here know us as the steel folks even though we aren't melting metal right on this street. It’s a plain office for plain work. We like the local shops for a quick snack.
