Ispat Ind. Ltd.

Our office is in Gokul Apartment, right in Sector 4 of New Panvel. We are in Flat 203, which sits on Plot 182/183. It’s a typical building for this part of Mumbai. We’ve been operating the Ispat Ind. business from here for quite some time. It isn't a massive corporate headquarters, just a place where we keep the books and talk to our clients. You'll usually see a few of us hunched over desks surrounded by stacks of paper. The view from the window is just other buildings and the busy street below. It can get a bit loud during the day, but we don't mind. We handle a lot of the logistical side of the steel industry. It’s not always glamorous work, but it’s necessary. We don't have a dress code or any of those formal rules. We just show up and do what needs to be done. Sometimes we order lunch from the place downstairs and eat while we work. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we get new files in, but we've learned how to organize it. We focus on being practical. There’s no point in having a fancy office if the work isn't getting finished. We’ve built a good relationship with the other people in the building. It feels like a small community. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the industrial tasks at hand.
