Ismt Ltd Steel Plant Jejuri-Pune

This branch is for the Ismt Ltd Steel Plant out in Jejuri. Our office is actually in the Jyothi Complex, flat number 9, which is in the Saswad area of Purandar Taluka in Pune district. It’s quite a way out from the main city, so the air is a bit cleaner and it’s not as loud as being right in the middle of Pune. The commute can be a bit long if you’re coming from the city, but it's a nice drive once you get past the crowded parts. We handle things for the plant from this flat in Saswad. It’s a very local feel here. People in the complex know us and we say hello to the neighbors when we see them. The office itself is pretty basic. We have our files, some old desks, and a calendar on the wall that we use to keep track of everything. Since we are out in the Purandar area, things move a bit slower than they do in the big industrial zones. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the plant and making sure the paperwork for the transport is all in order. Sometimes we have to head over to the plant itself, but mostly we stay here in the complex and get the administrative stuff done. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when things get busy at the end of the month. We just do our bit and keep the wheels turning for the plant and everyone involved.
