Our office is over at 781/4 in the Functional Electronic Estate on Bhandarkar Road. It’s an older building, but it works fine for what we need to do. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of empty coffee mugs. We do coding and software work here. It gets very quiet when everyone is focused on their screens, then it gets loud when someone finally finds a bug they can't fix or we need to talk through a problem. The estate has its own rhythm and we’ve been here long enough to know the security guards and the guys at the tea stall nearby. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup generator to kick in, which gives us a minute to breathe and step away from the monitors. We aren't some massive corporation with a big glass building and a lobby. It’s just a small team of people who know how to write code and build things. The parking on Bhandarkar Road can be tight if you don’t get in early. We stay late most nights because that's when the office is the quietest and we can actually get stuff done. It’s not a glamorous job, just sitting in front of screens and typing away for hours at a time. We have a small pantry where we eat lunch together. It’s a simple setup. We don't bother with fancy titles or meetings that go nowhere. We just take the projects as they come and try to get the logic right.
