Indipendent

Indipendent is located at Flat No 9 in the Amruta Building on Lane No 1. We are in Dhorenagar, which is part of the Old Sangvi area in Pune. It’s a very residential neighborhood, which makes for a peaceful working environment compared to the city center. Our office is basically a flat that we have turned into a workspace. It’s a bit cramped with all our equipment, but it feels cozy and we like it that way. We have our computers set up where you might expect a dining table to be. From the balcony, we can see the daily life of Dhorenagar, with vegetable sellers and people going about their business. We handle a bit of everything here, hence the name. Since we are in the 411027 area, it’s a bit of a commute for some, but the quiet atmosphere is worth it. We don’t have a big corporate sign outside, just a small nameplate on the door. The kitchen always has a pot of tea ready because we take frequent breaks to stay focused. Sometimes the neighbor’s cat comes by the balcony to see what we are doing. It’s a very local and simple way of doing things. We aren't trying to be a big firm with lots of rules. We just want to get our work done and stay part of the community here in Old Sangvi. It’s practical, slightly messy, and exactly what we need.
