Our facility is out at Plot No-D7 in the M.I.D.C. area of Jejuti. It’s located in the Purandar taluka, which is a bit of a drive but it’s a good spot for what we do. Indiana Gratings Pvt. Ltd. is basically a big workshop. We spend our time making gratings, which isn't the most exciting thing to talk about at parties, but it’s what we know. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of welding is always in the air. We have a small office near the front where we handle the orders and talk to customers. It’s nothing special, just some desks and a few old chairs. We aren't trying to win any awards for office design. The real work happens in the back. We have a crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone. Some days it gets really hot under the tin roof, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and precision cutting. It’s a place where we value hard work over fancy presentations. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, not suits. We like it that way. It’s a practical business for practical people. We just focus on getting the crates loaded and shipped out to wherever they need to go. Every morning starts with the same routine of checking the machines before the shift begins.
