Indian Seamless Metal Tubes Ltd.

Our place is out on the Jejuri-Morgaon-Baramati Road. It is a bit of a drive out from the main city centers, but we like the space we have here in Jejuri. The post office is nearby which makes things convenient for our mail. We handle metal tubes, and because they are seamless, the process is a bit different from what you see at other mills. The facility is large and can get quite noisy when all the machines are running at the same time. We have a lot of people working different shifts to keep things moving. It isn't a quiet office job by any means. There is always the smell of grease and the sound of metal clanging together. We try to keep our head down and just focus on the production targets we have for the week. The road outside sees a lot of transport trucks, especially those headed towards Baramati. It’s a hardworking environment where nobody is wearing a suit or tie. We wear sturdy boots and clothes that we don't mind getting stained. On the weekends, things quiet down a bit, but during the week, it’s all go. We’ve been part of the Jejuri community for a long time and many of our staff live just a short walk or bike ride away from the gates. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of setup.
