Icon Technologies is out at Gat No. 1534, Plot No. 4 in Sonavane Vasti. If you’re heading through Chikhali, you’ll find us in that industrial patch where there’s always a bit of dust and the sound of machinery. Our place is more of a workshop than a corporate office. We’ve got benches set up for the technical work and a small corner with a couple of chairs for when guests stop by. It’s a functional space, nothing more. We don’t spend much on decorations because we’d rather have better tools for the jobs we take on. The floor is concrete and there are wires running along the walls in some places. It gets pretty busy around here in the afternoons, and sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a specific task. We’re not a huge company with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small crew that knows how to handle the equipment properly. Most of the people around here are doing similar work, so there’s a bit of a community feel in the Vasti. We handle our own logistics and usually pack everything ourselves. It can be hard work and your hands definitely get dirty, but that’s just part of the day. We don’t bother with big presentations or fancy talk. We just focus on the technical side of things and make sure the items leaving the plot are exactly what they should be.
