We’ve been based out of the Orchid building here in Raheja Gardens for a while now. If you head up to Wing-B and look for office 307, that’s where you’ll find the Ibm India Pvt Ltd crew. Wanowrie is a busy part of Pune, but our little corner stays pretty steady even when the streets are chaotic. Most days start with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of fresh tea from the stall just down the road. It’s not some fancy glass tower like you see in the movies, but it gets the job done for us. The desks are a bit crowded sometimes because we’ve got a lot of files and old computers packed in. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking about things that need fixing. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has time for that stuff. It’s a practical space for practical people. Everyone walks in, says their hellos, and get straight to whatever is on the list for the day. Sometimes the elevator in Wing-B is slow or just broken, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. There isn't much to say about the decor because we focus on the work instead of how things look. Rain hits the windows pretty hard during the monsoon season, and we usually have a few umbrellas leaning against the door frame. It’s just a normal office where local people come to earn their living.
