Our spot is in Samarth Nagar, over in New Sangvi, Pune. We are at S/No - 73. It is a nice enough area, though it can get pretty crowded during the day. Working for Ibm Global Services in a place like this feels very grounded. You have the local shops nearby and the regular noise of the neighborhood. It is not a sterile office park. We have our desks set up and we spend most of the day on our computers. Pune has a lot of tech stuff going on, but our little corner in New Sangvi feels more like a community. We have people coming in and out, and the tea stall nearby is where we usually end up during breaks. We don't go in for all that "vision and mission" talk. We just have work to do and we try to do it right. Sometimes the internet is slow or the weather is too humid, but we just deal with it. It is a very normal environment. We talk about regular things while we work. The address is easy to find if you know the area. We have been here for a bit and we like the local feel of the place. It is just a group of us working hard and staying busy in this part of Pune. We don't try to sound like anything other than what we are—people working in a local office, making sure the daily tasks are finished before we go home to our families.
