Hotel Satkar

We've been at Survey No 642 for quite some time now. Being in Budhwar Peth means it’s always loud outside with the traffic, but that’s just how Pune is. We are right by the Tambadi Jogeshwari Mandir, so we see a lot of people coming and going for their prayers. It's a basic setup we have here. We keep the rooms ready for whoever stops by. Sometimes it's students, other times it's folks here for the local markets. It’s not fancy or modern. The building has some age to it, and you can tell by looking at the walls. We just try to keep things moving. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a uniform for the staff. Just a desk and the keys. It gets very busy during the festival times because of the temple next door. Parking is a bit of a headache around here, to be honest with you. Most people just walk in from the main road. If you're looking for a spot that's right in the middle of everything, this is where we are. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New shops open and old ones close, but we're still here at this address. It's a straightforward place to spend the night. Nothing more, nothing less. We handle the cleaning ourselves. It’s a small team. We know the regulars by name. If you need to find us, just look for the temple and you're basically there.
