You can find Hotel Ratrani on the Chinchwad Solapur Road. It’s a busy stretch of highway, and we get a lot of travelers who are just tired of driving and need a place to crash. The area around 411019 is pretty industrial and fast-paced. There’s always the sound of trucks shifting gears outside. We aren't trying to be a luxury resort. We are a roadside hotel where the rooms are clean and the fans spin fast enough to keep you cool. We started this place because we saw how many people were traveling this route with nowhere to stop. It’s a simple setup with a small staff of local people. We do the laundry ourselves and make sure the bathrooms are scrubbed properly. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood, and we have to wait it out like everyone else. We don't have a big corporate office telling us how to act or what to say. We just talk to people like normal and hope they have a decent night's sleep. The food we have is basic, the kind of stuff we eat at home. It’s not fancy, but it fills the stomach after a long drive. We’ve been here through the hot summers and the rainy seasons, just keeping the lights on. It’s a hard way to make a living sometimes, but it’s what we know, and we just keep at it day after day.
