Hotel Ranmala

Hotel Ranmala is situated on the PashanBaner Link Road at number 134. It’s a very busy road with lots of traffic going back and forth all day. We have some tables inside and a few more near the entrance for people who like to sit outside. The kitchen is in the back and it stays pretty hot in there while we are cooking. We don't have fancy printed menus, just a chalkboard with what we have made for the day. The floor is made of grey stone which is easy to wash down. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the mess after the lunch rush is over. It gets quite noisy inside because of the big trucks driving by outside. Sometimes the power goes out in this area and we have to use candles or torches until the lights come back on. That’s just part of living and working around here. We’ve been running this place for a while. The curtains are a bit faded from the sun hitting them every afternoon. We should probably get new ones one of these days but these still do the job fine. People come in for a quick meal and then head right back to their work. We don't have much time for chatting when it gets busy. We just focus on getting the plates out to the tables. It’s honest work for us.
