Hotel Neat Space

Being right on the Old Pune Mumbai Highway in Lonavala means we see a lot of different people. Some are just driving through to get to the city, and others are stopping because they’re tired. We are situated quite close to the Darga, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The highway noise is part of the life here, you get used to the sound of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. We named it Neat Space because we try to keep the rooms uncluttered and easy to manage. It’s not a huge place, just a few floors and a small parking area out front where people squeeze their cars in. Sometimes the mist comes down heavy from the hills and you can’t see the road clearly, which is when we get the most visitors. My cousin helps me with the cleaning and the laundry usually happens in the afternoon when things are quiet. The furniture is mostly wood we bought a few years back. It’s sturdy and does the job. We don’t have a fancy lobby with marble, just a desk and some chairs for people to sit while we get their keys ready. It gets busy on weekends when everyone from Mumbai wants to escape the heat. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s a basic setup that works for people on the move who need a break.
