Hotel Laxmi

Hotel Laxmi is tucked away in Nigdi, specifically in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar near Sambhaji Chowk. If you know the Pradhikaran area, you’ve probably passed by our street at some point. It’s a decent sized place where we serve food to anyone who walks in. We have a few tables and the usual setup you’d find in any local eatery around here. The kitchen stays busy most of the day, especially around the afternoon when people take their lunch breaks. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. Sambhaji Chowk is a landmark that everyone knows, so it makes it easy for people to find us. We don’t go in for anything flashy. The walls have the same paint they’ve had for a bit, and we keep the chairs clean. That’s about it. Most of our customers are folks from the local offices or residents who don’t feel like cooking at home. We just try to make sure there’s enough food for everyone and that it’s served hot. It’s a regular routine of opening the shutters, prepping the ingredients, and cleaning up at the end of the night. It isn't glamorous, but it’s what we do here in Nigdi. We keep the doors open for anyone who needs a meal without any fuss or waiting around too long.
