Hotel Khandesh Junction

Hotel Khandesh Junction is right in the middle of Narayan Peth, inside the Seva Sadan Building on Laxmi Road. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always noise and people moving around outside. Inside, it is just a regular place to sit down and have a meal. We are not one of those high-end restaurants with waiters in suits and fancy napkins. It is more casual, where you can just come in as you are after shopping. The kitchen is always going, and you can hear the pots clanking from the seating area most of the time. We focus on the food from the Khandesh region because that is what we know how to make. It is spicy and simple, just like how it is made back in our home village. We have a small team, and we all pitch in with the cleaning and the serving. Some days the lunch rush is so heavy we can barely keep up, but we do our best. The building itself is quite old, so it has that lived-in feeling that some people like. We do not spend much money on decorations or fancy menus. We just write the specials on a board and hope people like what we have cooked for them. It has been a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we manage to keep it going for the customers.
