Hotel Gandharva Residency

Our place, Hotel Gandharva Residency, is tucked away at 1191/1192 Shivaji Nagar. We are actually right behind the Gandharv Restaurant, which makes it easy to find if you know where to look. It's a bit of a crowded area, but that's just Pune for you. We’ve been running this residency for a bit now. It’s mostly regular people staying here, like students or folks in town for a few days of work. The rooms are what they are. We put in clean sheets and make sure the lights work. It can get a little cramped when we're full, but we manage. Sometimes the neighbors are loud, or you hear the kitchen noises from the restaurant in front when they're busy with dinner. It doesn't bother us much anymore. We spend a lot of time just fixing little things that break. A leaky tap here, a squeaky door there. That's just part of owning a building like this. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us doing everything. You might see me at the desk or helping with the laundry. It's honest work. We like being in Shivaji Nagar because it's central. You can get anywhere from here. We aren't looking to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one where you can put your bags down. It’s practical. No bells and whistles. Just a place to sleep. We've been here long enough that we know all the shortcuts around the neighborhood.
