Hotel Chaitanya Restaurent & Bar

We’ve been here at Kharadi 40/1B for a while now. Most days start pretty early when the first few workers come in for a quick bite before their shifts. The kitchen gets hot fast, especially during the lunch rush when the tables fill up. We just try to keep things moving. Sometimes the orders get a bit mixed up, but we fix it right away. It's just a regular spot where people from around here come to sit down after a long day. The bar section stays busy in the evenings. You can hear the chatter from the street sometimes. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It’s mostly just wooden tables and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. My cousin helps out with the accounts and I usually handle the front. We get a lot of regulars who don't even need to look at the menu anymore. They just sit at their usual spots and wait for their drinks. It gets noisy when there's a game on the TV. Cleaning up at night takes longer than you'd think. We sweep the floors, wipe down the counters, and get the shutters down. Then we do it all over again the next morning. It’s hard work, but this is what we do at Hotel Chaitanya Restaurent & Bar. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a place to eat and have a drink without any fuss or trouble.
