Hot Sip

We are located at Kothrud 129/2/3, which is a spot that gets a lot of sun in the mornings. The shop is small and mostly people just stand around outside with their cups while they talk. It’s a simple setup with a stove that stays hot all day and a few jars of biscuits sitting on the counter. We don't have much in the way of seating, maybe a couple of stools if you're lucky to grab one. The street noise is just part of the background here, with the traffic and the birds and the shops next door opening their shutters. We start early to get the first batch of tea going for the people heading to work. It’s a lot of steam and the smell of milk boiling. We don’t bother with fancy menus or anything like that. People usually know what they want anyway. We keep the place as clean as we can, but with people coming and going so fast, there's always a bit of a mess to clear up. It’s just a regular daily routine for us. Some days are slower than others, especially when it rains, but usually, it's just one person after another. We like the rhythm of it. It’s just a basic shop in Kothrud where you can get a hot drink and move on with your day. We have been in this spot for a while and the people around here are used to seeing us. We just keep the kettle on.
