Hoshakun is run out of Plot No. 6 in the Sadanand Housing Society in Bibvewadi. It’s a bit different than a big factory since we are located in a residential area. We like it this way because it’s quieter and feels more like a community. We have our workspace set up here and it’s where all the planning and small-scale work happens. Bibvewadi is a nice part of Pune, and being in a housing society means we know our neighbors and they know us. We try not to make too much noise or cause a disturbance. Most of our day is spent at the computer or handling small bits of inventory that we keep on hand. It’s a modest setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see downtown. We use the space we have as best as we can. Sometimes things get a bit cluttered with samples and papers, but we know where everything is. It’s a very personal way to run a business. We don't have a receptionist, so if you call or visit, you’re talking directly to the people doing the actual work. We started here because it was practical and affordable. Over time, we’ve just made Plot No. 6 our home base. It’s a steady, quiet life of slowly building what we have. We aren't in a rush to be huge; we just want to do things right from our spot in Bibvewadi and stay focused on the task.
