Hinglag Super Market

Hinglag Super Market is located in Talwade Phase V, specifically on the 71st Cross. Being in Phase V means we see a lot of people who work in the nearby factories and offices. The shop is pretty practical with high shelves and lots of stock. We have everything from snacks and drinks to washing powder and big bags of sugar. The street outside is often dusty because of all the construction and movement in the industrial area. We have to sweep the front of the shop quite a bit. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the customers coming in for a quick buy during their lunch breaks or after their shifts end. The ceiling is high and we have some fans going to keep it cool when the sun is out. We don’t have much in the way of fancy signs inside, just some handwritten price tags here and there. The 71st Cross is a bit quieter than the main roads, but we still get a good number of people. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and putting things on the shelves. It’s a lot of manual work, but that’s the nature of a super market in this area. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to wait around. We just provide the basic stuff people in Talwade need every day. It’s a simple business for a busy industrial zone. I keep a bottle of water under the counter because it gets quite thirsty work moving all those heavy bags of flour.
