We’ve been operating Hind Engg. out of our workshop at Survey No. 22/1A/1/6 in Mangadewadi for quite some time now. It’s not a large place, but it fits everything we need to get the job done. The day usually starts early when the sun is just coming up and the traffic on the main road hasn't peaked yet. Most of the work involves metal pieces, welding, and some basic machining. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist because we are usually out on the floor working with the tools. It’s a bit noisy when the grinders are running, but that's just the sound of progress for us. We’ve gotten to know the neighbors well over the years. Some are other small businesses, and some are just folks living nearby. We handle a variety of engineering tasks, mostly stuff that people bring in when they need a quick fix or a custom part. Sometimes it gets a little cluttered with materials, but we know where everything is. The roof can be a bit loud when it rains hard, making it tough to hear each other, but we manage. We aren't interested in being the biggest shop around; we just want to do decent work for the people who rely on us. It’s a practical way to make a living, and we take it one day at a time here in Mangadewadi.
