Harisoft

Harisoft is based out of 168 Pune Cantonment Board. The Cantonment area has a very specific feel to it, quite different from the rest of Pune. It’s a bit more old-fashioned and the roads are usually a bit cleaner. We’ve been at this address for a while now, working out of a space that fits us just right. It’s not a massive tech park, which we actually prefer. We deal with software and computers every day, but we like the fact that when we step outside, we aren't surrounded by glass skyscrapers. The building we are in has some character to it. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes for a bit, but that’s just part of being in an older part of the city. We don't have a big reception desk or people in suits walking around. Most of us are just in jeans, sitting at our desks and typing away. It’s a quiet place to work for the most part, except for when the local traffic picks up. Being under the Pune Cantonment Board means there are certain rules we follow, and it keeps the neighborhood feeling steady. We handle different projects as they come in, some big and some small. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look bigger than we are. We just focus on the code and the tasks at hand. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
