Hardware Network Engineer

I work out of a place called Monikashree, which is C/O Ashok Desai. We’re located right opposite the Natraj Gas agency in Dahanukar Colony, Kothrud. Being a Hardware Network Engineer in Pune means there’s never a dull moment. The area is usually quite busy, especially with the gas deliveries going on across the street. My workspace is a bit of a mix of everything—routers, switches, old cables, and various tools scattered around. I handle a lot of the networking side of things, making sure connections stay stable and hardware is talking to each other correctly. It’s a bit messy, with wires running along the floor and stacks of hubs in the corner, but I know where every single piece is. Kothrud is a great neighborhood, and I’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know me. I don't have a shiny corporate lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find me untangling a mess of Cat6 cables or trying to configure a router that’s being stubborn. It’s hands-on stuff. I spend quite a bit of time traveling to different sites around Pune too, but Monikashree is where I do the main prep work. It’s a practical setup that works for me. I just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure everything is plugged in where it should be by the end of the day.
