Hanuman Catering Services

We have been here at Nana Peth for quite some time now. Hanuman Catering Services isn't a big fancy office, just us working out of Jawahar Chowk Cross Road 125. Most days it’s just the sound of big pots clanking and people coming in to check on their orders for weddings or small get-togethers. It started because we liked cooking for the neighborhood, and it just stayed that way. The traffic around the cross road can get a bit much during the day, but we manage to get the food out on time. Sometimes the kitchen gets really hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is when you’re making large batches of dal or rice. We don’t have a website with flashy photos, usually people just walk in or call after hearing about us from a cousin or a neighbor. It’s mostly just family working here, making sure the spices are right and the vegetables are fresh from the market nearby. Nana Peth is a busy place, and being right at 125 keeps us in the middle of everything. We aren't trying to be the biggest in town, just doing the work day by day. If you’re passing by Jawahar Chowk, you’ll probably smell whatever we’re cooking that morning. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated, just basic food for people who need it for their functions. There is always something to do, whether it's cleaning or chopping, so we stay pretty busy.
