Hameed Standard Watch Company

We are over at 205 Bhosale Corner, which is right in Lane Number 4 of the Camp area. This part of town has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Hameed Standard Watch Company is a small operation. We don’t have a massive team or a huge warehouse. It’s just a dedicated space where we focus on timepieces. The workbench is the heart of the shop, piled with tools that have probably been used for decades. There’s a specific smell in here—a mix of old oil and metal. We spend hours every day hunched over, working on anything from cheap plastic watches to the more expensive metal ones. Sometimes the parts are so small they disappear if you blink. We have a lot of regular customers from the Camp area who have been coming to us for years. They know we don't have a fancy waiting room or coffee machine. It’s just a place to get your watch fixed by people who know what they’re doing. The traffic on Lane 4 can be a bit loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep our shutters open and just get on with the work. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we don't feel the need to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just fix watches at Bhosale Corner.
