Down in Yerwada at Ishwarnagar Society 30, you'll find Hajarat Ali Mobile Shopee. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with glass cases for phones and a workbench in the back for repairs. We deal with a lot of cracked screens and batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. People in the society know us well and often stop by just to ask a question about their settings or a new app. The space is tight, so we have to be careful where we put things. It gets quite bright with all the LED lights we use to see the tiny screws inside the phones. Sometimes the parts we need take a few days to arrive from the main market. We try to be honest about how long a fix will take, even if it’s not what people want to hear. Running a mobile shop means staying up to date with all the new models coming out, which is a lot to keep track of. We have chargers and cables hanging on the walls too. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is home from work. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us handling the customers and the repairs one by one. It’s good being part of Ishwarnagar. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay as long as people keep dropping their phones.
