Our office is Shop No. 6/7 in the Balaji Complex, which is right at Rashtrabhushan Chowk in Guruwar Peth. If you know Pune, you know this is a very traditional and busy area. Komal Systems Pvt. Ltd. has been here for some time. Being in a shop unit means we are right on the ground level, which is convenient for when we have to move equipment in and out. The complex is always humming with activity from the other shops and the people passing by. It can get a bit dusty with all the traffic at the chowk, but we just keep the doors shut and get on with our work. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and workstations. We don't have any leather sofas or fancy lighting. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. We are a small group and we’ve known each other for years. We don't really have a boss who sits in a private office; we all just sit together and talk across the room. Guruwar Peth has a lot of history, and we like being part of that. We aren't a high-tech startup with millions in funding. We are just a local company that provides systems to people who need them. Most of our days are spent troubleshooting or setting things up. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep it simple. It's our little corner of Pune and we like it here just fine.
