Gurukrupa Provision Store

Our shop, Gurukrupa Provision Store, sits right on Hour Main Road at number 15 in the Konappana Agrahara area of Hadapsar. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work and realizes they forgot milk or sugar. We keep a bit of everything stocked on the shelves, from big bags of rice and lentils to those small packets of biscuits kids ask for. It gets a bit cramped inside sometimes because we try to fit as much as possible so people don't have to go all the way to the bigger markets. The floor is old stone and the shelves are mostly wooden ones we’ve had for years. It's just a regular neighborhood store where we know most of our customers by their faces, if not their names. We’re open most days from early morning until late at night. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road a bit when they're dropping off crates, but that's just how it goes here. We don't do anything fancy with displays or lights. We just try to make sure the essentials are always there when someone needs them. It’s a lot of lifting heavy sacks and counting out change, but it keeps us busy. People come in for a quick chat while they wait for their grains to be weighed and bagged. It's dusty and loud with the traffic outside, but we like it here.
