Gurukrupa Pan Stall

Gurukrupa Pan Stall is located right on the Bhosarigoan Main Road. It’s a busy spot in Kalewadi, especially during the commute hours when everyone is trying to get somewhere else. I’ve been running this stall for years. The road is always noisy with horns and trucks, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our stall is tucked into a corner where people can pull over their bikes without blocking the whole road. It’s mostly just me here. I spend the morning cleaning the glass jars and getting the lime paste ready. We have the usual stuff like cigarettes, matches, and different types of masala. The shop isn't much to look at, just some wooden planks and a tin roof. On hot days, it gets pretty warm inside, so I usually have a small fan going. People from the nearby houses in Bhosarigoan come by in the evening after dinner. They like to stand around and chat for a few minutes before heading home. It’s a nice community feel. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a pan stall where you can get what you need and move on. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery is late, but that’s just part of the business. We try to keep things honest and simple for everyone who stops by.
