Gurukripa Furniture & Interior Decorators is located at 41590 Fatima Nagar inside the K P C T Mall. We are pretty close to the Vishal Mega Mart, so it’s easy for people to find us when they’re out doing their other shopping. The space is usually filled with the smell of wood shavings and some glue because we’re always working on something. It’s not the quietest spot in the mall since we have to use tools and move heavy pieces around a lot. Sometimes the showroom area gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of finished items waiting to be picked up. We don't really have a polished sales team. It’s mostly just us showing people what we can do with a piece of wood or a bit of fabric. We’ve had customers come in with sketches on napkins and we try to figure out how to make that work in real life. The floors are often covered in sawdust by the afternoon, no matter how much we sweep up. It’s a working shop first and foremost. We spend a lot of time talking about measurements and different types of finish. Some days things go perfectly and other days a piece of wood splits and we have to start over. That’s just the way furniture making goes. We just keep at it until the job is done and the customer is happy enough to take it home.
